I saw that there was a raffle but didn't know about the early bird options. No promotions about early bird, the ticket I got yesterday doesn't say anything about it either, typical MDLottery.

So I got lucky buying early.

Picking up my PA raffle ticket today, the first day they go on sale. I only go off the budget when the jackpot games get high and for the PA raffle... in the last 2 years I won $100 on each ticket. Had not played them before.

Thanks for the reply and the update. I was on the mdlottery website today and they had it advertised. The odds seemed pretty good. So I figured. I would buy a couple tickets. I did not see any advertisement prior to today. I check the website pretty frequently. Maybe it was done so lottery syndicates or whatever they call them could not buy up all the tickets.

Just updated the guide with Maryland's raffle! I did see the press release about it launching today, but I was not sure if there was an announcement about it earlier since I originally did not find anything about it in my research.

Interestingly, the last time Maryland had a raffle was back in 2007 , which had 420,000 tickets for sale and offered four $1 million top prizes. Yay for Maryland for getting a raffle again

Well, without putting it quite like that, I don't understand why every lottery doesn't have a holiday raffle every year. For example, my home state of New Jersey has the raffle one year and then doesn't have it again for several more years. Yet, it sells out every time they do have it.

I wish state lotteries would explain themselves for the obvious money left on the table.

At the same time, hats off to Pennsylvania, which in my view has the perfect raffle every year.

Yes it is ha ha. This will be my 3rd year in a row coming up just for the raffle. Last year I got to the gas station 30 minutes before sales started and there was already a pretty decent line started wrapping around the inside of the store.

I have 4 Michigan Super raffle tickets :) looking forward to the drawing in a couple weeks. Looks like we are going to have a little break on the odds since most likely this will not be a sell out with such slow sales.

I also have 10 Idaho holiday raffle tickets.

And after spending the day in Yellowstone I am currently in Montana ready to buy my Raffle tickets first thing in the morning before they sell out.

True, but not really a holiday raffle game. (Which is why it's not in this story.) The drawing for Super Raffle 2025 is November 19. There are currently just over 162,000 tickets remaining.
