I had another interaction with Cash Pop in Pennsylvania yesterday. I played a mix of Match6, Powerball, P3 and P4 on a vending machine. I fed my slips in and while it was cranking my tickets out, the screen pops up and says my free ticket had been generated. I didn't know I had a free ticket coming. When I sorted through the tickets after I got home, there was a Cash Pop ticket among them. I had played $4 in P3 and apparently playing a P3 generates a chance you'll get a free Cash Pop QP.

Wha... [ More ]

I misstated something from the PAlottery website yesterday. I said the odds of getting a possibility of a $250 prize on a $1 bet was 15,000 to 1. The odds for that are actually 1,000 to 1. When you factor in the 15 possible numbers, that's where the 15,000 to 1 comes from.

In case anybody finds this useful, here are the bet amounts and the prize ranges.

$1 bet, prize range $5 to $250

$2 bet, prize range $10 to $500

$5 bet, prize range $25 to $1,250

$10 bet, prize range $50... [ More ]

I played a $1 QP the other day. The prize amount is randomly generated based on the wager amount. In my case, the prize was $5 which is lowest possible prize. Maximum prize on a $1 bet is $250, but odds are 15,000 to 1 to get the $250 prize possibility. And then of course, your number has to hit which is 1 in 15. I did not win.
