the MUSL is reporting that Maine will be joining. Why would they say something that they can't back up

powerball will never be in maine fore the following reasons.1. the governor is shaky about it2. I'm pretty sure that New Hampshire has the power to deny a state entry into the MUSL, and Maine offering Powerball would take customers away from New Hampshire.This topic made the news a few years back. I strongly doubt it will happen when New Hampshire can stop Maine's entry into the game to avoide a decrease in sales. I was surprised when Vermont was allowed into the game.

When Maine FINALLY re-joins MUSL, it should also offer Hot Lotto.
