ive won p3 employed or not. i actully won p3 the day i was terminatedi went to the grocer and purchsed 20 turkeys and 10 briskets and gave the lady who sold me the ticket 25 bucks

I'm Unemployed and been that way for 15 months or so due to an accident at work. The company takes well care of me so it's not like I'm broke. Don't know exactly what your looking for but sometimes I think alot of folks are dealt a lousy hand and end up unemployed one way or another. By choice or not by choice. I play and try to figure out numbers to keep me from watching CNN all day and find these pages and the lottery alot more amusing . I also make a dollar or two and suppliment my income... [ More ]

Let's face it! No matter what one's situation is, he/she will always have the money to buy what he/she wants. And, the whole concept of the lotto is to make it available to everyone- just one measly dollar puts you in the game and it's all you need to win. That's right, for just $1 one can still dream .

the most that would pay out is $25,000, and that is if you played $5 on it 10 times, which i don't know of many people who do that.

I'm doing an article for a class and was just curious as to if there's anyone out there who is unemployed at the moment and plays the lottery. I'm curious as to why you still play while unemployed and if any problems have come out of it. thanks.Why shouldn't they ?? i know someone who was on unemployment who played the lottery. he just cut back from when he was employed. i've played the lottery when unemplyed before, but i had enough saved up so i could do so.

I'm sorta in the same boat as Rjoh I'm retired living on fixed income and I don't drink alcohol any more so I have a few bucks to spend on lottery tickets. I always lived within my means whether I was working or not. The less income I had the fewer tickets I was able to buy. Instead of playing every day I might have played once or twice a week. I've seen people who were unemployed buy lottery tickets and as with any person the reasons are usually it's my turn to win tonight. Hope I win tonight.... [ More ]

You may have a hard time finding someone to admit to doing this. I'm sure people DO play who are unemployed, although I think it would be rare to find an unemployed person who plays their life savings. Probably just a dollar or two to keep them in the game.Hopefully your article is not a negative piece on the lottery. If that's the case, you should try to understand more about how people enjoy the lottery as entertainment, and entertainment costs money just like anything would.
