There was an interesting article on rigging the balls to avoid matching the tickets that are entered into the computerized database.[quote]Yes, I personally am involved in it. Lottery ping-pong balls have a small valve, like a basketball or soccer ball, only its very tiny, and nearly invisible. We use a hypodermic needle to inject heavier-than-air gasses such as radon into the balls we dont want to come up. At first, we tried helium in the ones we did want to rise, but they jumped up so quickly

The fact the they might draw the same number as before is almost the same as ball machines drawing the same numbers. Here's a simple test. Get 10 soda bottle caps the plastic ones. Write the numbers 1 thru 0 one each one of them with a magic marker preferably a permanent one. Put all ten caps in a paper bag shake the bag don't look in the bag draw one cap out write the number down.

enterceptor While your idea about this might hold some salt with an RNG type drawing. I doubt they could manipulate a ball machine driven sequence. In order for them to make a ball drawing rigged like you stated would require that the whole crew be involved in some form or fashion. Since it takes 3 hrs to prepare for the drawing IE:select the machines, A witness selects the balls for each machine, Lottery people check balls for weight run the pre draws. Tape the pre draws, How are they going to

I think lotteries were cheated a lot in the past with counterfit tickets for relatively small amounts people could cash at the local retailer and vanish.Every so often you read about people altering tickets, but now the computer and scanners catch that stuff, only one payoff per serial number, all terminals online no local payoffs if the system is down.On the other hand, wonder if the lottery ever cheats players, say a ticket is not a winner when it is. We know they announce larger prizes then
