eddie,28 x $24 = $672. It would be $4 cheaper to do the twenty-four way combos. You'd also have greater number exposure in each drawing, but you'd only have twenty-eight drawings going for you. That also happens to work out to 672 chances over the span of your drawings, which is four less chances than 676 $1 straight plays. The difference boils down to $4 and the luck of the draw. There's no real advantage of one over the other unless you can analyze the draw history and find some statistical an... [ More ]

I'm no math genius, fast eddie, but if you combo the number and it comes out throughout the amount of drawings you decide to play, you may get multiple hits for the life of your drawings, versus playing straight for $1.00 and getting nothing if the combo comes in, just in a different order than you have it. Good Luck and congrats on your prediction board hits

Thanks in advance.I want to play one pick four number to win $5,000 and was wondering which idea was mathematically better or are they the same?playing all 676 drawings for the year $1.00 st. which if I hit will pay $5,000or only playing 28 drawings randomly throughout the year and twenty-four way combo them (cost $24.00 per drawing) which allows you to match your number in any order which also pays $5,000Which of the two is the better play? Also c... [ More ]
