On the lottoreport website there was a link to a NPR broadcast in which a member of the Texas lottery commission admitted a computer RNG programmed to pick 4 more often than 3 or 2 was used to pick their MM multiplier to encourage players to use the MM multiplier option which generated more money for the State of Texas. I don't think that's a problem here in Norway.The state lottery is proudly presenting their draws on a 10 minute show each wednesday(VikingLotto) and saturday (national lottery).I think they know people want to see the draws on TV. They even got the draws available to watch as web-TV on the website.Web-TV draws. It's after the Joker draw.(Think it only works with Internet Explorer

I would continue to play, I do not want Texas to become computerized. I play states that are Delaware and California. I hit on both of these and in PA as well. I am a firm believer that certain numbers follow each other no matter what. I would like to see what the payouts in Maryland are each day. We have the ball machines and see the drawings live, but the only payouts that are given to us are from the Lotto drwing 6/49 and the megamillion drawings. Which are usually pretty low payouts here.

also its not a coincidence that states with computerized drawings have less payouts than states with ball drawings,the main reason being is that with computers you and i both know that states can use these to keep track of the numbers and just program the computer to pick numbers that were bet on the least or not at all,thus making the maximum amount of money each day while paying out very little in winnings,just think indiana has this down to a very fine science.....the art of cheating players.... The boogieman is the fact that the same computer system gives you its quick picks, tabulates the quick picks and all other picks made for that draw and then at drawing time that same system makes the picks.The player is not the boogieman in this scenario, the state running this type of lottery is.

It's all about accountability. Players want to know that the drawing is random and not tampered with. The best way states can do that is have televised drawings of balls. They could also post televised drawings on their website if they don't have it broadcast on public access channel.

Well I'm only a kid i'm 19 and i've only actually been able to play the lottery for about a year and a half.....So i can't really say that i would or wouldn't play.....i'm not sure if anyone outside of CT and RI has KENO or not but thats all computerized and i don't know to many who've hit big on that...........so i don't know i suppose i might still play a number or two but wouldn't chase much

i can say that the last pick-3 ticket i bought was the day prior to learning that my state had gone to computerized drawings. since then i've stayed mainly with the old faithful powerball and also getting hotlotto tickets just across the border in minn and iowa. i'd like to occasionally get back into my state games of pick-3 and 4, but as crazy as it may sound, i'm just not ready to accept the rng computer draws ... yet. maybe in time.

Here is the latest list that I am aware of.California, Lotto-Quebec, Kansas, Delaware, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin have already converted from traditional drawing machines to computers and random number generation for all or part of their on-line game drawings.

i would definately stop playing if N.J. switched. there is no parity between ball drawings and computorized drawings. look at louisianna, and wisconson, they're definately good examples on the computorized side.it takes all the math work out of the game...!!! totally against computorized drawings..

The one thing I have read is usually people chase hot numbers, and that with computerized drawings, people will be chasing cold numbers. I have no idea. That's just what I read.
