Lottoscorp- I am surrouned by people who call themselves Chess Masters and have claimed to have defeated their Computer Chess Games They probably claim to be chess masters since they are rated over 2200. As for defeating their computer chess games, try to simplify the position to win. Told to me by a chess master rated over 2300.

RJoh,You make a good point. I entered this thing over 25 years ago and like many others, I set my sights on winning the numbers. In 1985 I purchased my first RNG Software from a developer near Redmond, Washington. My system was a Laser Computer with a 5.25 floppy. I ran the software in that computer and it did what all other (later) RNG programs are doing now. (With the exception of the frills and thrills.) ... at the same time, a lottery expert does not have to be rich . Their motive may be greater than just money.In another thread, I saw how a software maker out of the blue, speaks somewhat about his financial expenses outside of the lottery world, which shows his insecurity, and I believe to a certain degree, the intelligence behind his software.

Just to add a twist to this:A lottery expert could be someone who has not spent one penny on the lottery. But, someone who works for one of the various lotteries calculating your odds and verifying that the draws are indeed random. In fact, experts might be in different diciplines. Like the history and politics of lotteries, accounting or marketing of lotteries....etc.However for this forum, I look for someone who knows the basic mathematics and methodologies associated with odds and prediction.... My definitionLottery expert: A person who uses WHATEVER tools necessary to produce a habit of winning more than they lose. This person would have to maintain these wins at a consistent betting. A person who bets $30 a month and wins $500 2 months later, then quits, would obviously not be an expert.....however, they might be smarter than us LOL

Winning the lottery is all luck; therefore, you do not need to be a winner to be an expert. Unless one wins a mega jackpot, one cannot make a living off playing the lottery, as it is rigged to produce few winners and many losers.

I think people qualified to claim the title have the good sense not to.People who claim the title generally have something to sell. And no, you don't have to win to be an expert nor does winning make you one. In the same sense you can be an expert on a sport you can't play and professional players of the sport may lack knowledge of its history.BobP

I don't know if expert is a good analogy. But if you use some paper method for picking your numbers then you should win more often. If the paper system isn't working alter the method by which you create it until it shows results. Also just looking at the last 4 draws in pick 3 and 4 you should find the correct numbers to play since they are almost always found there.When using your paper method if is shows results stick with it until it stops working and switch to another method. When Tennessee hired Georgia's lottery director, they wanted a lottery expert who know how to run a lottery, not a lottery player. The only people claiming to be an expert are people who run lotteries and those who market lottery software and neither make their living playing the lotteries. RJOh
