I believe that if I won enough...not only would I keep working, I would buy as much of the Company as I possible could...just to have the personal pleasure of irritating the living daylights out of one of my previous supervisors because I would make it mandatory for him to report to me daily or be docked 4 hours pay for not checking in. Depending on the jackpot I'd take a sabbatical from working if it was small or if it was quite large then I'd quit out right. I wouldn't quit working forever I'm sure I'd work again in some form or another. Initially I'd just be trying to do things like set up my finances for the rest of my life, Find a different place to live etc. Once that was done I might take the occasional part time gig (no pay) or just volunteer with charities or the local library on a seasonal basis. If it's here in FL then $5 million after taxes would work for me to quitworking for a bit. If it's megamillions (GA) or powerball (SC) than it has to be $100 million pre tax to make the road trip with my buddy which we'd split. Of course in GA or SC I'm talking the annuity advertised amount which I'd probably pass on and take the cash. Seeing that I live In a state that doesn't pay income tax. four4me,there is a big difference between celebrities and people who win the lottery. Celebrities are indentifiable, people look up to them and admire them. When was the last time you saw someone asking a lottery winner for his or her autograph? You have probably rubbed shoulders with a multi-millionaire countless times in passing without even knowing it. However, if you bumped into a celebrity at the airport or gas station you'd be sure to notice.

Personaly I have been out of work for the better part of 19 months as some on here know, accident at work. i understand that some of you really like your jobs and that's fine...but this is for those of you who would keep working because you feel you'd be bored....ok, you are millionaire..you can have the ability to travel anywhere you want, buy almost anything you want, time to learn anything you want, etc...i just dont know how someone could be bored when they could do anything they want, i would think it would be even more boring to work at the same job for the rest of your life.
