Most places here in Illinois only have scratch offs in machines now. Yeep Yee my St. Louis Cardinals are off to a 14-5 start with there win over the Brewers today. A good start to a defending of there national league title

I have not had any problems with my tickets, even though I havent won anything above 500. Anybody who plays scratch in massachusetts cannot but notice that lately there have been a larger number of winning scratch tickets like superbucks, jackpot, 5 times lucky etc. I hit 500 twice this week and it had never happened before. I think its a good time to play for what it lasts.

Yes I trust the clerks at my mom and pop store that I buy lottery tickets from because I have known them for over 11 years.

another problem is if the book of tickets has not been activated, the lottery will not validate the ticket, and may even accuse you of stealing the ticket.

When your dealing with money trust no one but yourself.If you have a winning ticket and hand it to someone to check even the most honest person would be temped to say oh no this isn't a winner thinking that you might possably toss the ticket.Many of these clerks automatically toss a scratcher in the trash as sooon as they check it especially if they think it's isn't a winner. 7-11 clerks respond well to neck wringing in instances of suspected malfeasance. Beyond that, someone who doesn't know what they have before scanning is gonna get bamboozled dventually.

it depends for me. if it's someone new at the place, i'm going to be a little uneasy about letting them process my ticket. if it's someone i've known for a while doing it, i'm gonna have no fear.
