Barry, you could lower your number of combos quite a bit by applying filters such as eliminating all high or all low, all odd or all even. You could also eliminate recent repeats combos.Your theory is sound using one digit from the last draw and keying it with the other pairs. Another way to eliminate some combos is to analyze your three key digits. You could pick the one that has come in the most lately or you could pick the one that was out the longest before it hit in the last draw. Such

i am newbut can you help me?in the pick 3 i came up with a system ,but i have to many numbers in it.can you show me a way to reduce the amount of numbers so maybe it can be profitalbe.here is an exsample .using yesterday no. in ohio one of of yesterdays no.hit often.if yest.no=319 then i would play 3 or 1 or 9 then i would pair them with what did not come out .2,4,5,6,7,8, using these 6 i then have pairs =24,25,26,27,28)(45,46,47,48)(56,57,58)(67,68,78)=15 pairs.now i play 324,325,326,327,328/ec... Nicely put Todd,Slimpick3 it take alot of research and studing to narrow down your selections, and try to find a system that is fool proof, not going to happen. But you can find a system that works well in your state that might give you pairs to work from. Sandy K has put together a awesome post for Michigan that alot of people view and post.
