$2 a ticket is too much. They should have only $1 per play with $2 for Power Play.

They would have to change their matrix and end their idiotic limit to jackpots for that to happen. Powerball alone could beat Megamillion even with California but not the way it is now nor with the upcoming matrix change.

But a very poor one. I personally like cash only tax free jackpots like in Europe. That way you win the advertised amount. Although it won't happen, just like the blue game.

Unfortunately, with a cash-only jackpot game, the jackpots would not grow as fast and therefore would not generate as much sales. Annuitized jackpots are a marketing device.

I don't get why people are talking about a non-existant game that's not going to happen. It's like talking about a national lottery. Might as well talk about when games are going to have all cash and dump annuities all together. I would rather see that happen. If the jackpot says $100 million than that's what you should get.

If I would play it would be when the jackpot is high not playing regularly because I don't like the two dollars for one play and then two dollars for powerplay that is four bucks for one line.

I dont think its greed. Certain people would continue to spend the same amout of money as they do today. The $2 is going to be distributed the same way the $1 dollar in powerball is being distributed today. They are not changing the percentage received by the states, they are only increasing the price per play. When I took the survey, I did point out that the $2 per play is the only negative aspect of the blue game . I've gotten so used to paying $1 per play that it would be hard for me to... [ More ]
