I think the longest is to Ranier Oregon at 3+ hours per way from Seattle. The prize has to be at least 250-300 million before I make a trip like that.

I've driven from Dallas, TX to Shreveport, LA for powerball tickets (about a 2 1/2 hr drive each way). But I'm only willing to do this when the JP is over 200M. I can't go this weekend (if it rolls tonite), but if it were to roll tonite, and Saturday, and next Wed, I'd make that drive for the 6/4/05 drawing....

Living near the Southern California coast, I too would have to drive about 3 hours to get PB tickets in Arizona. As for MM, I just need to wait a month! I am tempted to make the drive, but I have not psyched myself out yet nor am ready yet to blow a tank of gas on the drive - though of course it would be worth it if I won

If I had a car, I'd gladly drive for tickets. But I don't have to drive far, Powerball in PA is only 5 minutes away, and MM in NJ is only about 20 minutes away.

For PB tickets I have to travel about 40 miles to Pennsylvania which takes me about 45 - 50 minutes. Sometimes I buy PB tickets in Philadelphia where I have family.For MM tickets, I only have to travel for less than 5 minutes .

Usually at most an hour each way to pick up Powerball tickets. But I have sent money with friends when they go to New York or Florida to pick me up a multi-draw ticket.

What's the farthest that you've traveled to buy lottery tickets? With the powerball Jackpot getting up there I'm about to embark on a 2 hour each way journey to get tickets. hopefully noone wins weds so I'll get my chance for saturdays draw.
