You also, Konane.I can't claim I've ever doubted that there's a strong metaphysical element to the numbers and their behavior, once I began looking closely at them. Judging from the number of anecdotes on the Mystic Forum I'm also inclined to lean to a view that people who are already into metaphysics and mystical matters seem to have a somewhat 'special' sensitivity to whatever drives those behaviors, making them a bit more predictable for... [ More ]

One thing you might try is when picking numbers, write them down in groups of no more than 5 plays as if they were already printed out on tickets. Then using intuition (get totally right brain on this) try to see which of your plays you're drawn to most. That one may prove to have the most correct numbers in it ... or at least the nearer to being correct. Then see if you might be able to further refine another pick or two from that point.

Interesting ideas, Jack! In addition to using statistical analysis, so called predictive lotto programs, birthdays and other no-no numbers, I've tried using a pendulum to pick numbers both for Powerball and for the Oregon Megabucks ... similar to dowsing I guess. But that doesn't seem to work for me..... keeps giving me numbers that come up for some other state too far away for me to get to--- and I can't tell in advance which state it's going to be. <Grin> I've also used an alternative ran... [ More ]

Ok I am curious about one thing relating to this thread. I have read about seeing numbers, dousing for the numbers, meditation, dreams, and all kinds of other ways of devining numbers. But what I want to know is where do you think the success of any of these methods comes from? I have a few ideas on the success relating to my daughter and how she gets so close or even sometimes dead on with numbers. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul speaks of gifts given to individuals. It says that each individual is... [ More ]

Hi Jack, I just wanted to let you know that I tried something from one of your posts. I went back in the Florida Fantasy Five history (that I have, only 3 yrs) and looked at the 6/21 dates (summer solstice) and for the last 2 out of 3 years the numbers 5,14,22 have all been drawn. I was very excited (perhaps naively) that with those odds all I had to do was sit and wait. I picked a couple of other numbers from some charts and purchased my 6 tickets. Unfortunately, Fantasy Five had other... [ More ]

I don't think that I would worry too much about that swat team. Back in the day, when GA was a powerball state I used to always play 13 as my powerball. One evening just because I had nothing better to do with $50 (this was before marriage and kids) I got $50 worth of PB tickets all with 13 as the PB. The 13 hit that night and because I had all those tickets with the 13 I ended up with about $150 with all the ball only, ball +1 and there were a couple of ball + 2's in the group.

I would love for someone to explain about this caul or veil that people may be born with. I am really curious exactly what that means.Rip, I will say again that I have had much better results at any kind of number picking from gut feelings and asking my daughter for numbers than any system I have come up with. I'm still trying to find that system but sometimes I wonder if it is worth all the time and effort. -Bonnie

Before I got into all this, I always worried about everything, expecially what other people thought of me. I don't do that any more. It's more important what I think of me and I am awesome. If everyone would only see themselves that way. Possitive attitude has done wonders. My affirmation that I do, I think I got from the numbers lady. I've got to go for now, Sylvia is on Montell Williams show. I'll come back on in a little bit. Toni

Hi Bug:I've heard of it all my life.... some of the people who read the LP forums have said they were born with a caul..... Four4me, I think is one.I don't know about whether being born with a caul gives a person a better handle on metaphysical matters from birth, or if it's something else, but I do know some people believe that's the source. Thanks for the post,Jack

Thanks for the post, Toni. Good to hear you're finding affirmations to be a worthy way to improve your life. I'm grateful every day (by affirmation) for having affirmations in my life.I'm hoping this discussion will happen, if it's going to happen at all, out on the board (except for anyone who wants a headache fixed just to prove to themselves it works, or doesn't want to become a public spectacle... shy or whatnot). But I appreciate your comments and hope you'll have more to say. I'd like to... [ More ]

Rip Snorter, I have read so many books on spiritual info, like James Van Praagh, Sylvia Browne, Doreen Virtue and Shakti Gawain. This is so interesting to me, that I can't get enough. I even have the Silva meditation on my desktop. I don't get to do it very often but I do my own meditation for about 5 minutes, twice a day. It's funny all the things that I have learned, I can feel is the truth. Like, knowing common sense. I thank God for all my blessings everyday and I say an affir... [ More ]

Those of us who are 'in' to metaphysical ways of looking at reality tend to become fairly specialized, narrow as any country preacher in our approaches. We no sooner discover there's another side of things than we begin building fences around what we've discovered, laying rules for it, generally trying to keep it corralled. Maybe it's just so we can saddle break it with some confidence it won't strike out for the tall timber dragging us along behind with a foot hung in a stirrup, bouncing acro... [ More ]
