The last few Wednesday rollovers increased the jackpot by 3m. However this time it's 2m, which should mean NY Lotto continues to slowly lose players.

I use to get pee'd off cos I wouldn't at least win a smaller prize. That made me annoyed at El Cheapo's (NY Lotto) game.But then I realized who the f_ck cares if I hit 3 or 4 #'s, especially since I only play what I can afford. Yea $15-20 pays me back some money, but that doesn't last long... and the biggest reason why not to care is cos I'm playing for the jackpot or 2nd prize.So El Cheapo, my friend, you're not that stinky at all.

I agree NY lotto blows. I used to live there and the buck for 3 out of 6 and the 40% or less payback is like robbery. Mega Millions isnt that great either, I will stick to my Ill Little Lotto tonite that will be a million! Almost wise if you could to scoop up all the combinations

Are you saying that any two games that have a jackpot are worthy of comparison?It is very clear that you are posting this to again show your dislike of the NY Lotto, so the reasoning that they both are jackpot games sounds a bit disingenuous.Everyone knows that you dislike the NY Lotto, so I'm curious why beating the dead horse is necessary? They all have pros and cons. NY Lotto gets you 2 plays for only one buck, in a day when more games are becoming $2 for just one play. And for the odds, the jackpots grow to exciting levels (like now). Of course, like you've said, it only pays 40%, when such a payout would be illegal in a lot of other states. Mega Millions on the other hand obviously has much bigger jackpots, and an honest payout. But the odds, whew! And I'm sure with CA in now, we'll see even more winners then before, which mean...
