A while back I got a quick pick for our 5/39 game and the numbers were 32-33-34-35-36. (I bought another quick pick).If the lottery has taught me anything, it's that anything can happen with random numbers regardless of probability.

Todd, you are absolutely correct.I just think the odds are better to draw the same three numbers out of ten possiblies than to get the same three numbers out of 42 possible numbers.Is there a formula for this

I've had that happen too. I figured the lotto machine hiccupped. I've also picked my own numbers and checked the QP box for the remaining boards. More times than not many of the same numbers repeat.

I just returned from the store where I made a small purchase with a $5 bill. With the $3 change I got 3 powerball quick picks. All three powerball numbers were #22. Doesn't that seem kind of strange
