I read all these posts and I learned one thing- When I win Powerball or MegaMillions, I did not purchase themover the mail. I must have been traveling through that stateand bought these tickets. From reading the above articles, I conclude that internet gambling is illegal for the organizations that are doing it, but not the bettor himself/herself. Also, the law can not be enforced on companies operating outside of the United States. So, maybe the place that I bet with is breaking the law, I am not and the law can't be enforced against them anyway

Remember prohibition and who won in the end ?But enough of hate posts .It is enough to know that even if you only play state lotteries you still have a good chance of making a profit in the long or short run if you study the game's processes or winning rules and apply them right.Every and anything devised or made by man can be known and unmade.Of course we should not be fools to play games which we can't win, only those that we can at least to a good extent or measure.

The state lotteries are jealous, because they have no internet gambling themselves and their own lottery payouts stink, so people want and seek better odds.Who rules, the people (the public) or the few elected billionaries who tell you what to do and what not to do, regardless of what the people want to do ?Are the laws made to benefit the people or the few elected billionaries

I didn't know it was a felony. I know there has been some discussion on LP about whether it is against the law or not. I would be interested to see the U.S. Code that defines it. If it is a felony, I will stop doing it.

I would consider $5 per player for MegaMillions; prefer- ably quickpick extended play. When limit of quickpickextended play is reached, a second set of numbers couldbe added. Do you think anyone else is interested? I alreadyplay $40 per month. Not good for us poor people. I get10 plays in Powerball and 10 plays in MegaMillions. I play2 sets of numbers per lottery per month. MegaMillions isvery hard to even get one number.

Are you interested in pooling for MegaMillions I live in a state that has no lotteries. Our elected officialsseem to be worried about our morals. I currently playMegaMillions in Illinois and Powerball in Colorado. I have had no problems yet. A few extra bucks could be playedin a pool.

Lottery Pools have to be local because U.S. Postal regulations forbid sending money (including money orders, checks, etc.) for playing the lottery.
