I was flying with a bud of mine cross country in his plane somewhere over Lubbock, TX, about 7000 feet.

There is a highway in the sky for commercial aircraft which number about 23,000 takeoff and landings every day. However there are as many if not more small craft which can take of and land numerous times during the day so how much steel is up there during the day can number upwards of 50 thousand. It not so much a problem when there in the air it's taking off and landing that's tough because many small planes use the same runways as the commercial airlines. Lots of near misses.

To be honest, I'd probably pay off my current vehicle and drive it until it wears out. The kind of card I'd buy to replace wouldn't be anything super fancy, but would be something nice. I'd probably get something like a Taurus or a Hyundai Sonata. Nice, but it doesn't scream you have alot of money like Lexus, Mercedes, etc.I wouldn't want people to know I have alot of money, so I wouldn't show it off. When people think you have something, they all want to be your friend so they can get a pie... [ More ]

When I was younger, I wanted a Lamborghini. But now I realize I can get pretty much the same sporty looks/feel with a new-year modified Corvette (although I love them Stingrays too). I now wish for vehicles that have just enough sport/luxury features without it being overkill.I guess much of the reason is who cares how this or that person looks at me. I'm not gonna spend excessive $$$ for a passing fleeting moment in my life, so some person who I don't even know, says, Hey look at him. he's so... [ More ]
