If you go to www.ohiolottery.com they give you a more accurate cash value. For the current jackpot of $122 million, they say the cash value would be $74,526,628. So I just divided the cash value by $122 million which gave me 61.0874 %. So the cash value is 61.0874 % of the annuity. I just multiplied $158 million by that percentage (.610874) to get $96,518,092. Ofcourse the % amount changes all the time but it gives you a little more accurate figure.

I'm going to say $152 million to be on the safe side. Its really hard to tell how people in California will react (how many tickets they will buy) when they see a jackpot around $150 million. If the jackpot is $158 million, the cash value will be about $96,518,092. If the jackpot is $152 million, the cash value will be about $92,852,848.

If no one wins tonight jackpot, what will the pot grow to, and what will the cash option payout be? I say $158,000,000 and cash option $88,000,000
