Hot numbers are dependent on the ball set used. Once it's changed, it usually stops being hot.

Actually, you have to analyze each lotto game. I've noticed in some games that particular numbers stay hot over time. Picking the time when they're going to hit is another matter. I usually like to look at numbers that have been hot over 50 to 100 games, but have been cold over say the last ten games. It works sometimes, but is anything but reliable. I suppose, the converse could be said about cold numbers.

Depending on the size of the lottery pool, numbers are considered hot up to (10) draws following a hit.

Take how many ever days you want to track and do a count up. the number that hit the most is the hotest digit. I use 10 draws but some people use more.

Curious question, but when a number gets hot and has a persistant run, how long is it generally hot for? Just at what point does one consider when a number suddenly IS hot? 3 days running would probably be the most common cycle I notice, but what's your thoughts
