ohiopick3,I'm maintaining a data file for Lot'O Play, but my program can only handle 60 numbers so I haven't had a chance to analyze the file yet. I plan to be able to do that before the jackpot reach $20M when I plan to play it again(I played it once when it first started).

RJOh:The only reason that I played the same four sets on each ticket is because of thegenerated numbers that they give you also. I just picked four numbers that have nothit in this game at that time. I figured that every two or three drawings the numbers drawnhad a low number. So I just randomly picked a different low number that had not hit at thattime as well. I figured, let the chips fall where they may with the generated numbers.If I were lucky enough to have my four main numbers drawn then

ohiopick3,Was there a reason you chose to put the numbers 23-53-61-67 on the top row of all your tickets? I think I might have chosen to put totally different numbers on each ticket hoping for more variety.RJOh

Yes, Just6ntlc the winning numbers must be a roll across, down or diagonally (12 ways to win). Being in the positions as below won't even match 2. A match 1 pays nothing.X 1 X X XX X 2 X XX X X 3 XX X X X 45 X X X XOhiopick3 didn't even match the normal odds of matching 1 of 1:5

I don't get this Ohio Lot 'O Play miracle. I can get all 5 numbers, but get nothing. Does this mean that I have to win a jackpot, I have to get all 5 numbers in a row across or down

The first Saturday drawing of the new year had a lower payout than the previous Saturday. Expect this game to get canned soon after its first jackpot winner.

You can have all 5 numbers and not win anything, with none of the numbers at all, you don't stand any chance at all. If you want to guarantee that you will have all 5 numbers somewhere on your tickets, you'll have to buy 20 tickets ($40)and make sure all one hundred numbers are in the line that you can pick.I don't play the game now, but I plan to when the jackpot gets to $20M or when it ends if it has special payouts as SLP did with its last game.

As Lot'O Play jackpot gets bigger, it will attract enough players to cover most of the combinations and it will likely be won. Since there are 71,423,144 possible combinations and 12 of them are on each $2 ticket, with a $9M jackpot it getting closer to the point where the casual player will start buying tickets and that will help.

The latest Saturday draw had a slightly better payout than the previous Saturday. Look for the amounts to be paid to winners drop below $200,000 around the holidays.

I played several tickets when the game first started because I matched 3 several times when Ohio SLP had its last game which paid $38 for each match 3. I probably will never play Lot'O Play again unless the jackpot gets to over $15,000,000.00. If the game is around for another four months that will probably happen.

It would seem to me that many players don't like it; it's possible to have several winning lines in one play, or three numbers in each of two (intersecting) lines.

Normally that is true. But it looks like sales for LoP have dipped tremendously since it began less than two months ago, even though the jackpot has yet to be hit.

Reember that if ticket sales and prize payouts are low, then it is likely that nobody wll hit the jackpot, causing it to roll over. The higher the jackpot, the more likely players are to purchase tickets.

The payout for last night (Saturday 12/3) actually was HIGHER than the previous Saturday. The fact that Thanksgiving was last week probably is the reason.
