I had 17, 24, and 33 on different plays. I had 7 or 8 tabbed for the first ball as overdue.2 numbers in the range 1-9, 1 in 10-19, 2 more in 20-29, the last number in the 30s, and no numbers from 40-49. This is the first time this year that this pattern 2-1-2-1-0has hit. No decade pattern has repeated for the last three months.

How many people from Kentucky have won LS? I think they should reduce it to a 6/44, run it Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and start the jackpot at $ 1 million. They need more frequent winners to keep the interest in the game, and it'd be good for the longevity of the game if there were more winners from the smaller of the states as well.

Lotto South 3-8-18-22-28-33. Only 10 of the last 100 drawings have a lower sum than your pick. The sum of 102 has already been hit once this year. I'd try for something in the range from 115 to 165.

Kentucky has both Powerball and Lotto South on the same nights. They need a game that complements the larger game by drawing on different nights. The difference in odds between 1/14 million and 1/12.2 million is about 13 percent. I'd like to see them improve the odds by reducing the matrix to 6/44 (Florida) or by providing extra plays for each dollar (Oregon) or some other dollar amount (Maryland).

6/49 Lotto South jackpot odds......... 1:13,983,8166/48 Hoosier Lotto jackpot odds...... 1:12,271,512That's a difference of 1,712,304 chances that I don't have to beat in a 6/48 game versus a 6/49 game. I'd say that is indeed a significant difference. For a half million dollars more and the better odds, Hoosier Lotto is clearly the better choice of the two games right now.

6/48 vs. 6/49. There isn't much of a difference in chances. Because it's evenly divisible by the number of balls, 48 would be preferable if you're tracking the distribution of balls in the drawings.

1-2-11-14-15-23-26-31-33-35-36-37-39-42-49Kentucky is getting out of Lotto South because of sagging ticket sales. Evidently the players in Kentucky just aren't interested in this game any longer.Hoosier Lotto actually is up to $20,000,000 now. It's only a 6/48 game, so it's a better bet right now even though it is drawn by a computer.1-8-9-12-19-22-24-25-27-28-32-34-37-42-45
