Powerball.com may not have announced it yet, but the New Hampshire Lottery website has announced it now as well, so it must be in all 30 jurisdictions.

They do this for a living, and have perfected the concept of a profit. Change the rules. THAT SIMPLE! Lower the top tier amount, compensate the second tier. It is actually in every jursidiction of Powerball through out the month of March and if 10x does not show up in March it will continue until it does show up in the powerplay wheel.-weshar75

WOW! Now that would be a great tranfusion of feshness into PowerBall. You know the MUSL crew will be paying attention to how it works. Maybe they'll find it makes money. If it does, the rest of us may have a shot at it. Makes second place a lot more acceptable. I would always buy the Powerplay.

This all seems useless if you cover all the powerball numbers. Most states have a liability below that of the 5x powerplay.

A permanent 10x slot could potentially put many lotteries in the red.

With their being only one slot that has the 10x it makes it harder for it to hit that slot then the other lower slots. I still think that the 10x slot should be permanent not just one or two month out of the year.-weshar75

Wow. I've only PowerPlayed one time before (to no avail), but since I'm cutting back on my Powerball purchases effective after the current jackpot is won, I'm going to PowerPlay on alternate Saturdays during the promotional period. This period could not have come at a better time for me. If I win a prize during that period and the 10X is not hit, I will continue with that plan until 10X is hit.
