I had very similar close calls, and that hurts just looking at it. Just imagine, only one digit and one number away from $300 million. I think 5 of 5 is $200,000 x 4 for $800,000, not sure if there was a bonus pool yet though.

But still, if that 42 was a 44 it would have been drastically different, and even more drastically different if you matched the powerball also. You may never get that close again, the numbers either make you or break you. Usually the latter.

then go to http://www.imageshack.us/ on the right side there will be a browse button. Click it and find the picture on your computer. click Host it!

then copy and past the long link it will give you next to Thumbnail for Websites

as of matter of fact here is a brief

If you choose to specify the numbers yourself, you select five distinct numbers between 1 and 55, and one Powerball number between 1 and 42. The Powerball can be the same as one of the first five numbers, because it is drawn from a separate number pool from the first five numbers.

Of course someone's curious! I thought I was doing good to match 2 + PB. Can you tell us more about your wheel? How many numbers do you wheel and how do you decide what numbers to put in your wheel?

Rjoh, interesting note on how many people almost win big but don't. i live in Mass, and it seems that the powerplay in this game makes powerball way better than mega millions, at least to me. i live near the connecticut border, so i am lucky i can go back and forth between games. Will MM ever use the 2x 3x 4x 5x? i like the idea of getting 15 dollars over getting what a couple for the mega ball.

There were 10,521 players who matched 4+0 and 12,715 players who matched 3+1. That's 23,236 other players that only had 4 of the 6 numbers correct who also share you pain. They also got $400 if they had powerplay.

i am not sure how to show a copy of my ticket on here, unless someone explains but. the winning number is.

15-17-43-44-48/29.....my number is with the powerplay activated

15-17-42-43-48/18....i can't believe how close. it just hurts to see this. i wound up with 400 bucks but losing so much. OUCH
