In addition to all consecutive numbers such as 1,2,3,4,5 or 50,51,52,53,54,55, I would also eliminate all combinations with 4 consecutive numbers for a pick 5 game (e.g. 2-3-4-5 ) or 5 consecutive numbers for a pick 6 game (e.g. 2-3-4-5-6).

I would also check the game's drawing history see how many times 3 consecutive numbers (for pick 5) or 4 consecutive numbers (for pick 6) had appeared.

I have done some searching on the internet for some good strategies to eliminate rare or unlikely combinations from pick 5 and 6 games.

So far I have:

number multiples, especially 5-10-15-20-25-30

commonly played number combinations are {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}, {7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42}, and {5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30}

avoid all same last digits, such as 3-13-23-33-43-53, or all the digits that end in seven, or some other favorite lucky number.
