Lol what is your state? I could never watch a drawing and match all 5 numbers for the powerball, because if I did not then match the powerball I would probably flip. As usually I would probably miss the powerball by one also, just to add some salt to the wound.

Very well said, and thank you for your elaboration further on the subject. As I said it is very tough to change anothers mindset, all you can usually do is just try to make a difference. Is their a higher cause involved for those who become jackpot winners? Maybe sometimes, sometimes not.

Coin Toss, I never look at the televised drawings. I usually, depends on work schedule, go to USAMEGA to get the results if I am up and working that night, or call the Lottery Hotline and get the results, look at the newspaper, or get back online to USAMEGA. And that's when the pot is high too. I am one of those winners that learn of my win a day or so later. ; now if I win over a $100, I might be more proned to check immediately...Ha, Ha....

I think a great number of people confuse prayers with wishes, if you do that you are setting yourself up for disappointment. I don't pray for material things, because I tried that on occasion to come up dry... then you realize that's not what it is about.

Jokes are meant to be funny and lighten up our lives. We can take them as offensive or as their original intent. If a joke is offensive to us that is our right to believe so. I'm Irish and I love the bean joke and will be passing it on to my buds at the pub who are mostlly Irish too and I guarantee they'll laugh.
