Your statement is tantamount to a medical student saying that there have been many plagues throughout the history of mankind (which is true) so why should we care about AIDS, Tuberculosis or Avian Inlufenza? Global climate change has no bearing on the lottery. As a scientist, I know that globlal climate change is real, and that the effects are likely to be catastrophic, but lottery players don't really care about the subject one way or the other.

Both polar ice caps are melting, the Greenland Ice sheet is melting, the glaciers in Glacier National Park are receeding. All of that water has to go somewhere; that somewhere is rising sea levels. If our farmlands disappear, you will not have anyone to sell real estate to.

Blaming the sun doesn't allow political agendas to go forward or allow non-profits and NGO's to make money. Personally the idea that seas could rise 20-30 feet in as many years is pure BS. If true (which it's not) one could easily make a fortune in real estate like Lex Luthur

I knew it. The earth goes through climate changes all by itself because that's just the way things are, and nothing anyone does will stop it or change it. Therefore, the theory of man causing global warming is a bunch of bs.

Guys... I'm a meteorology major in college right now. (Take two subjects I like and mix them we have an interesting topic). Global Warming is just a name... When sea levels rise 20 or 30 feet, and our coastal cities are underwater, buying a lottery ticket will be the least problem on every one's mind. The only reason to visit Florida will not be to attend Disney World, but to go aracheological diving in the entire state. And if you think population migration was a problem with Hurricane Rita, wait until you have to move the populations of New York City, Washington, D.C. and the state of Florida to higher ground.

CASH Only, my vote is yes. If the temperature is very high with high humidity and a bad air quality, people will buy fewer tickets and avoid bad pollution. It's important to finish the job in a short amount of time.

Why is global warming a bad thing? Except for the super rich who have homes on islands and beach front property, who will be affected? As for me, I think warm winters would be a good thing. I only wish the Pilgrims had landed in Panama instead of New England.
