With hurricane season coming, there probably will be a drawing in the next few months that starts at only $2 million, or with a $2 million rollover. Another reason Florida needs to go multi-state.

For some reason I can't see FL going multistate. Their Lotto game is their pride and joy. If they take on a multistate game it might hurt sales. I think that will be a factor.

If they do go multistate and go with powerball... That would mean another possible matrix change. NC and FL would add so much to the game.

I hope FL doesn't change the Matrix or add a BOGUS Ball. I'm happy with Lotto. If you want to play something with a bonus ball it's called Mega Money. Didn't we learn that Instate lotto games and Bonus balls don't match when texas flopped

No. Florida is not big into changing things, especially when it's as popular as Lotto. They got quite a bit of complaints when they swtiched to the current matrix, and I don't think want to risk losing sales.

I believe Florida Lotto began in 1988, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't remember when it went to the current matrix. BTW the last time I was in Florida in 1983, you couldn't buy tickets along I-95 south of Maryland.

CASH Only, when did Florida start the 6/49 matrix? 6/53 matrix? My vote is at the end of this year, Florida will change its matrix to 6/56 or start a bonus game like 5/48+1/40 to win a jackpot.

Florida Lotto has had only TWO matrixes, 6/49 and 6/53. Florida won't be going multi-state until next year. I will be leaving for Florida five months from today (10/17).
