I&#x27;ve been out of grad school for 2yrs now (I&#x27;m 26)....thankfully I do have a job (  it pays well- I can make my student loan payments )   I have loving parents that are letting me live with them while I save up enough money to get a home. I haven&#x27;t gone to a professional job placement service because for a while there I didn&#x27;t have the $$ to do so. Maybe I will soon but I&#x27;m still throwing out resumes, maybe something will catch. Have you gone to a professional job placement service to make sure your resume and cover letter are written well or use key words? 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Add me to the list.  I have a Masters degree in Criminology.  Sadly I&#x27;m not using it- not because I don&#x27;t want to but I can&#x27;t find a job to use it in.  I&#x27;ve applied everywhere (federal gov&#x27;t, state gov&#x27;t, local gov&#x27;t- heck even the lottery!) but either I&#x27;m overqualified (through my education), underqualified (don&#x27;t have the work experience) or there are 100&#x27;s of people applying for 3 positions   I&#x27;m the one they don&#x27;t pick. Tntea&#x27;s got a Masters and happens to also be be a contender for top predictor on a fairly constant basis.<br /><br />I&#x27;d bet she&#x27;s got the highest formal education among those there. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Associate Degrees just don&#x27;t get any respect, think I&#x27;ve only seen them listed on something once.<br /><br />four4me<br /><br />I dropped out of high school (New Jersey) and went in the Army. They did us a big favor and made us take the GED test. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>I quit HS cause they had recess. And went into the army. got my ged when i was like 36 yrs old. Passed the ged in the 10% tile range. Went to machinist school got my papers. Worked for a mom and pop shop, that got old real quick then went into a state of the art CNC shop. Went to college to get my CNC papers that didn&#x27;t work out as expected cause the shop i worked for worked us to death. however i did get through the class and got my machine tool tech 101 and 102 papers.
