I actually think that is true Coin Toss. I think a lot of people did play the lost numbers at one time.

I'm thinking it was intentional and they didn't want to create a frenzy on the next Mega Millions or Powerball........

Don't know if it was urban legend or not but there sure were a lot of stories about people playing the jinxed numbers from the show Lost.

Didn't see the show but maybe they had a larger number range (say 1 - 99) for each of the 5 numbers?

But then again, it's just a tv show...

I never thought that a pick 5 jackpot would get that big. I wonder why they didn't do a pick 6 game.

In the new TV series Windfall, a group of people split a $386,000,000 jackpot.

They showed the winning numbers as

12 9 19 7 1.

Pretty good jackpot for a Pick 5....

Anyone think they're worth playing in a Pick 5
