wheels are the way to go. Select the 12 best and grind them against each other for maximum effect , as far as your wallet can go. The wheel will line up the combination needed to win.

Creating a flowchart for your game will help. After a while , your flowchart will help in picking numbers to play.

Software and other related stuff May help but your best tool is your own intuition.

a wheel is a system where you select your favorite #'s (anywhere from 8-10 - atleast myself). A wheel will then use these #'s and select the best combinations. Try it - especially if you come close to hitting the jackpot often...good luck

After reading all the comments here, I come to realize that I may be one of the few that do not know much about wheeling. So I visited the Wheels page. Browsed through it. Learned something about abbreviated wheels, filters, and other things. One of these days, I will go through that page intensively. I will also read some other materials on the matter. I will try wheeling on paper, and finally, by then, I can form an opinion on wheeling.

I select QP's I like from LP. I then use a # or 2 off of each line and put those #'s in a wheel. It has worked - not a jackpot winner. But for instance last Wed FL lotto winning #'s:

5-15-16-18-21-36 (winning #'s)

1-6-16-18-22-34 (my #'s)

Sat drawing:

10-12-28-38-39-49 (winning #'s)

10-17-28-30-49-52 (my #'s) ( I actually got these from looking away from the slip and putting the pen on a # - which ever one the pen fell on - I played - my own QP I guess you could say)

I believe someone who constructs tickets based on their study of the game and the interplay of numbers has the best chance of winning.

If you rely on software or a shotgun effect, then wheeling is the way to go.

There are many forms of wheeling, not just what you find in lottery software designed for the masses. Conditional compound wheels can give you a lot of leverage if you are successful determining the gross aspects of the draw.

Even with all of those 4s you are not in the top 10. The only one that is making money at Pick 5 is Rip Snorter. That is because he got lucky with a $50,000 win. The rest of us have not figured out how to win at Pick 5, but I think I am close!!

I actually like wheels. I missed winning $5,000 a little while ago because I didn't play some numbers I wheeled. That was upsetting. lol. However I believe they are only as good as the numbers you choose. You still have to have a set of your numbers within the wheel to do well.

Absolutlely! How else can you put together lines when you're dealing with a field of numbers and guarentee yourself a win? Even a 3 spot is better then a no spot.

if you look at my predictions in pick 5 i guess you would call what i'm doing similar to a wheel.i have gotten seventy or eighty 4 out of 5's this year with it.works better in some states than others.......

I think full wheels and applying filters is effective. I also think using a RNG to create your lines and then applying the same filters is equally as effective. Using abbreviated wheels does not seem to be as effective or profitable unless you want to be sure of a guaranteed win to partially cover your bet. This approach seems to replicate quick picks...you might win more often on one line per game but you miss the chance of multiple wins (some higher-tier) in the same game.
