I chose Cash option - FL has a 20 year annuity game (MegaMoney) with a cash option that pays around 65%, sometimes more since it's pari-mutuel. The starting jackpot is $500,000. There should always be a cash option for players.

DoctorEW220, I think MA should do the following in my proposal:

A. Start the jackpot at $400,000 cash option guaranteed. They'll announce the annunity jackpot

B. Offer 2 tickets for $1, not 1 ticket for $1

C. Offer a cash option

I think MA needs to do the following:

-Raise the starting jackpot.

-Raise the matrix (to accomidate the jackpot raise).

-Offer a cash option (Especially after that old lady sued to have her annuity turned into a lump sum).

-Offer 2 tickets for $1 (That would be really nice.).

- Move it to 3 draws a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday?).

And yet another unlucky winner again on Wednesday (6/28) - at least as the sole winner'(?) they get the full annuity ($20K/20, yay)...

Maybe they should just give this one away to charity.

Yeah, why don't they just have a $200,000 starting cash jackpot instead? I think the reason why, especially today, lotteries love to pay guaranteed annuities instead is so that they can guarantee lower cash jackpots when interest rates rise. Of course, if interest rates fall (unlikely these days), they have to guarantee higher cash jackpots though.

I've been spending time lately in Orange County, NY, so I haven't seen this poll. MA is the most corrupt lottery state (NY is a close second). Where else is there a $200,000 annuity with no cash option

My first vote or choice is Cash option/All-cash jackpot. This jackpot starts at $100000 [guaranteed] and continue to roll if their is no jackpot winner.

I would defintely not want to get a $200,000 jackpot in installments. I would think rasiing the jackpot and adding a cash option would be a good thing. I don't think however that they would raise the jackpot and then do 2 plays for a buck.

Ok, now I'm not usually one to complain about this game. In fact, I like this game, but when I saw that two people had to split the starting jackpot at this game, I thought that was bullcrap. Think about it. They split a $400,000 annuity. They get $200,000 in 20 annual installments. That's a mere $10,000 a year before taxes. I really think that this game needs improving. What do you think is the best way though
