The Illinois Lottery probably listens to the public more than the NY Lottery does. Ohio periodically surveys its players on new game concepts. NY never does that.

Yes, this thread is about Illinois, not NY. I simply wish NY would do this, which would further help the migration of players from NY Lotto to Mega Millions.

Everybody on LP needs to know that NY Lotto should be avoided like the plague.

My husband got a mega tripler on his ticket Friday and actually won the $7.00 prize which they tripled to $21.00. Btw, Green ball coming to IL beginning 8/1.

I live in NY state. Somebody here has to complain about its terrible payouts. BTW Yankee manager Joe Torre and I now have something in common-we both live in Mahopac (Torre's is a summer home).

This is interesting

For the rest of the month the Illinois lottery will be randomly printing Mega Tripler on Mega Millions tickets sold. If you have Mega Tripler on your ticket and you win a $2, $3, $7 or $10 prize you prize is automatically tripled. Interesting concept but they shouldn't stop on the $10 prize.
