I know people use different wheels based on budget, but how often have you actually caught all the lottery numbers within the set you wheeled? In the past year my record is: zilch! Even on Mass Cash, a pick 5 game where the odds of getting all 5 numbers is 1 in about 300,000 (vs the 1 in millions for the other games).

I've gotten all 5 numbers in a wheel before. Once, when I didn't play some numbers I wheeled, I missed out on $5,000. It happens, but not often. Wheels are a good tool, if yo... [ More ]

No 'repeats' in the last three games in the Mass Cash so it was playing as a 5/30 game without the repeat numbers.

I'm not giving up on finding a system yet, but so far I'm doing as well as quick picks!

Sounds as though QPs are the right route for you, that being the case. Saves you a lot of trouble reading all the way through things, working on things, trying to figure things out.

Someone posted on several threads over the past week or so about a new system he says is a good one. He says the best system is finding numbers that have never hit before anywhere.

You might give that a try. Do you mean the numbers that came out in the previous drawing?

I'm not giving up on finding a system yet, but so far I'm doing as well as quick picks! And yes, I think the lottery computers do some funny number crunching to give you harder to hit combos (possibly so the jackpot has a better chance to grow?). Many times I've noticed the computer gives me mostly sequential numbers on a ticket (ie 4 out of pick 5 tickets are sequential, and sometimes 5 out... [ More ]

In the past year my record is: zilch!

The Mass Cash is a 5/35 game. If you eliminate the REPEAT numbers ( by analysis) you`ve got a 5/30 game. Now eliminate the Cold numbers ( that`s a risk) and you`ve got a 5/25 ( or less) game. I would wheel all the numbers and with some filtering, who knows? You might catch them all

elmoo168,

If your system isn't picking numbers any better than your quick picks, then you're smart to return to the drawing board to work on it, at least you have a standard by which to measure the worth of your system. I think most members are willing to discuss their systems and theories until something convinces them that it might really work, so take advantage of their posts why they are still posting. Good luck to you.

RJOh

A group here at work buys QP and I'm trying to persuade them otherwise. They ALWAYS get combinations of numbers that are in the lower hit percentages. It seems a waste of a dollar to take a chance on a QP. Pick a set of numbers that land within the higher percentage hit groups to better your chances at winning SOMETHING. Better than NOTHING and no chance of ANYTHING.

I have found when I get QP, I always end up with a couple of numbers that were drawn in the previous drawing. For instance on the Powerball, I picked 3 plays, and 2 QP, the two QP, the first one had last drawings PB number and the second one had two numbers from the previous draw.

Hi,

This is my first post since I joined lottery post, and like many here I wanted to do some research to try to push the odds more towards my favor. So I looked at all the posts and systems and for almost the past year I played both systems and Random Quick Picks, recorded all my wins/losses (for taxes, in case I hit anything big!) and looked at the percentage of my wins/losses for both my systems and quick picks and concluded that...

My win/loss ratio is about the same for both! Which... [ More ]
