Mobile alerts... now that is a great idea. It's something I had thought about, there had to be something out there that would send text results via text message. What a convenience! Thanks Todd

Well, yes, sort of. You can sign up your phone or pager with the VA Lottery, but you basically get what they send you, and only for Virginia. The VA Lottery also only overs certain cell phone companies. Lottery Post has every game in the USA, Canada, and UK, which is unique, and every phone company in the USA and Canada is covered automatically.

Also, you need to give the VA Lottery your phone number. Lottery Post, on the other hand, does not collect your phone number or any other persona... [ More ]

I'm not sure if that will work, but I suppose there's no harm in trying. If it doesn't work, just send one code per text message. They are very short text messages to send, so it should be pretty quick either way.

I just realized something about my post that may be mis-interpreted. Pick 3 4 are indeed sent as one message, but if you want to get both Midday and Evening draws, that's two separate alerts.

For example, to get New Jersey Pick 3 4 for both Midday and Evening, signup once using the code NjPick34M (for midday) and once using the code NjPick34 (for evening).

Hey Blackie,

You've pretty much encapsulated one of the best things about this new service: it doesn't require a computer, and it doesn't require working with a mobile browser, which can be incredibly cumbersome.

I've had the thing sending me NJ results for a couple of weeks now, and it is very cool to hear that little sound on my phone indicating the results have been delivered, and then flip it open and they're right there.

Thanks Todd. If I could only figure out how to send a text message on my Blackberry. I'll read up on it. This will be great not only for most on this site but those of us that travel quite a bit because I myself use the prior draw when trying to figure out what to play in many cases. This will be alot easier than trying to find internet service although I also have 2 browsers on my phone. Great Job and thanks for the hard work involved.

The links work fine. Try upgrading to the latest version of Flash. Click Here. (Uncheck the box for the Yahoo toolbar unless you really want it.

Clicked on the worldwide results page but none of the map links worked.

Question:

Will the worldwide page eventually include Asian lotteries?

I launched a couple of things this morning that may be of interest to just about every player.

There is a new lottery results page available by clickling Lottery Results on the left menu, or by clicking the Results main menu at the top.
