Well, do need a new roof since it was built in like 5 stages, BUT, the $5M would also cover the following;

New Insulated Metal Roof,

New Commercial AC system for the house (I like having a 65 degree year round house),

Dedicated AC system for the Pool Room (yes, the pool is already indoors, just would be nice to completely enclose it and keep it temperature controlled year round),

a pool water heating system (would have to be electric since our neighborhood does not have gas),

That was actually pretty interesting to hear how you'd split up your $30 Mil. I kinda laughed when I heard the $5M for home repairs. That's one leaky house!

Maybe I'll start a new topic thread like this. I hope you don't mind if I copy and paste your text. I'd love to hear how everyone else would split it up, using the same kind of breakdown. (Minimum of $1M chunks.

Perhaps I am just greedy or maybe I just look at numbers a bit differantly. For me, a BIG jackpot would require at least 1 more zero ($10,000,000 PLUS).

Simply put, anything less then that is pretty much precommited in my mind. For example, with the MegaMillions at $122,000,000, the Cash payout would only be around $66,000,000 with after tax value of roughly around $30,000,000.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, most state lotteries hate Lottery Post. There are a few who are a joy to work with, and to which this does not apply, but the majority hate the free-flow of information and the fact that there can be (*E-GADS!*) criticism of their games. In their vision of a perfect world, Lottery Post would not exist, so having to deal with their jackpot winner wearing a big Lottery Post logo would send them into a tailspin.

me ,hell no , i would not go a step, but i would ask todd to send me a whole LP outfit , hat , shirt and sweat pants so when i go to collect i would have everyone from lottery post covered, also id have todd make up some orders of hats, pants and shirts ,sweaters and send to all of his members, i figger since i cant get all of you to the party ,please accept my party gift, since im from the bahamas my item colors would be gold , aqua , and black , my national flag colors ,hope you enjoy

I voted not sure. Of course I love the LP but if I won a REAL biggie I'd probably be out more and do tons more charity work or something. My first inclination was to say no, but on second thought, it's really hard to answer until it happens to you. So I'm a question mark at this point

i don't like her either.i remember you discussing that here a while back in the news section.texas was trying to cheat their players with the texas lotto game.i think they finally got rid of the bonus ball or something because the players were raising cain.then the issue of computerized draws came up too i think.they finally switched the lotto back when sales got real bad......

Well, I'm not a big fan of Dawn Nettles, because ALL she does is criticize the lottery. Not to mention that she accused me of being a fraud and accused me of working with the lotteries. After I saw that, I realized that if Dawn Nettles was talking about you, then she's criticizing you. She hasn't a nice thing to say about anything, and when all someone does is criticize, they are normally accurate only about 50% of the time.

I alway thought the statement I'm leaving Lottery Post was a bit strange. How does one actually leave?

This poll implies that people come here with the sole purpose of somehow using Lottery Post as a way to win a jackpot. So, if you win the jackpot, it's mission accomplished , and you can go on your way.

Maybe there's a few people with that mindset, and there's nothing wrong with it, but I think of Lottery Post as a place for people with a common interest to hang out and share ideas.... [ More ]

Being a member of LP has nothing to do with how much I've won or lost playing the lottery games, it's about my interest in the games. If I thought winning a lottery jackpot would effect my membership, I simply wouldn't mention it. Lose or win I will always has an interest in the games.

This place is to much of a drug to ever quit, especially cold turkey...
