Hate to admit it, but 1984. It is a Lotto ticket, it is like a business card stock w/color logos with numbers (not a QP) in purple ribbon ink that is still perfectly readable the governers name is on there as well as the chairman of the lottery and the director's signatures and logos The Numbers Game, tha md. state lottery, and LOTTO. I couldn't throw it away when I found it.

Hi Everyone,I had Lost a ticket before and when i moved i found it,it was not a winner but it has hit 3 and 4 out of 6 many times since ;the Ticket was dated back in 1994 on the 20th date,i still Play those numbers{6 9 16 24 39 42}It also has hit 3 and 4 of 5 of the cash 5;I still think this set is HOt for all states especially on the Annv Date,Goodluck to all

I've seen tickets in trash cans, but I never checked them out. Personally I keep tickets for 6 months to a year in a shoebox. Then I dump them. They're only good for 180 days months from the date of the drawing anyway.

You should keep them for the tax uyear just in case you win anything reportable. I hope this doesn't open a can of worms, but the law is you can dedcut your losses up to your winnings (but you have to have proof).

You can't win $1,000 and then say, He... [ More ]

Have a ticket from the Illinois lottery dated Jan 3 1987.

It is a one dollar pick 6 QP. Ran the numbers on the website and after 20 years the combo's haven't hit the jackpot...yet.

I have found some losing ( what else... ) tickets in cabinets before too.

I think my oldest was 5 or 6 years old...

Oops - After I read your post, I did some shoebox cleaning! Guess what? I was way behind and had a few from the end of 2004 and my tickets from 2005.

My wife brought home a book from the library once and it had a power ball ticket in it..I guess someone was using it as a book marker..I checked the number's and all the number's where losers so it was just a book marker..
