They already sort of do human drawings in PA - they have I think an older Pennsylvanian to draw the # of the ball SET to be used in the drawing. And I HAVE SEEN (no lie) in a nj drawing a few years ago and more than once, where a draw machine on the Cash 5 was malfunctioning and the hostess reached her hand into the machine (looking the other direction) and picked out the last ball

woops! I meant to agree with Konane about the lotteries having going through a lot to make sure the balls all weighed the same, etc... As to why not to have humans draw the balls. I don't like that idea. And as far as remote viewing is concerned. I think that is evil to try to do it at will. If it comes naturally, then, isn't that-in the end- the universe bringing it to you anyway? I don't believe in forcing anything.

This would only help if the ore draws were HOURS or possibly days before the actual draw because the green machines stop taking new bets around 10:45pm est. But yes, I completely agree that we could benefit from knowing these numbers. I bet our accuracy rates would soar. Even if we just knew how many pre-test draws they did would help us out. That could explain why some numbers drew are really not repeats and some numbers are really hotter or colder than they really are.

i vote yes to have someone pull the balls and yes to have the test numbers revealed,alot of our systems are based on last drawn numbers that are not true last draw numbers due to the test numbers...

In some parts of the world, humans are used more directly to select the winning numbers.

Whether being asked to be a button presser that activates the trap doors at some draws here in Canada...or people used in dangerous ways, like in the Orient where professional archers are used to shoot arrows at giant spinning wheels to get the winning numbers. If an arrow ever deflected and shot back into the audience....OUCH !

That should be a post in itself, the strange way lotteries are drawn

Todd..let me say this First ..I think you have the best Lottery site on the entire web..Hands Down..If by some how you could OBTAIN the pretest draws for all the states and list them some how..that would give all the players here a BIG HELP...just a thought..I am sure it would be a lot of work to say the least..and even if you cant get them..I would suggest to everyone to try and find them and factor them into your daily workouts..one will effect the other..I surely believe that anyway..lol

Rick I would have to say it hurts..if you are looking for a certain digit..or pair and it shows in the pre-draw..all you can say is I knew it was coming ..but you didnt get it because that draw doesnt even count..lol..which will make you wait a little longer to catch what you are looking for..I never even knew they pre-tested until I read it on here last year when I joined..I couldnt believe it..still cant..its not just I think they are messing up the natural forming sequence..its almost as if t... ok..take a look at this and tell me what all of you think about this..lets run a 0-9 sequence from febuary 15th forward..ok

0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9..now look from Feb 15th through feb 23rd..ok..now if you start with combination 176 and move forward to feb. 21 5-3-9..you will see that digit number 2 is missing to complete the 0-9 sequence..if you look at the pretest numbers digit 2 showed there first so that makes you have to wait a little longer before you get that 2 because it already showed in

In most cases they're available upon written request, or you can go to the lottery office and view them since they are public information. However since computers are so popular I wish all lotteries would put them online to be quickly reviewed. FL used to have them quickly accessible but got lazy with the new site format.

well..I live in a state that doesnt have a lottery and in my opinion there is NO NEED IN TESTING ANYTHING..WHY...why would you need to pretest anything for..really..Did whoever build the machines or computers are so sorry at their craftsmenship that a pre-test has to be done?..Are the People doing the lottery so stupid that a pre-test has to be done in case they mess up something?..NO.NO..NO..NO..NO..thats all bull crap..just remember..people dont do sh$t without a good reason to..those pre-test... I was responding to Raven, who described what could be an effort to influence the timing of ball selection by the drawing host.

It seems to me that it would be a good idea for the gate to be opened automatically and randomly between some minimum and maximum mixing time, though I don't think the reaction time of a host is likely to be good enough to have any intended influence.

Pre-tests should be for the eyes only of those testing the machines before the draw.

I once saw on the TX site the 5 pre-test combinations picked. I thought the last thing in the world I'd want to see are the numbers I've played for years and years!

Lotteries go to great lengths to assure all balls weigh in at certain weight tolerances, dimensions, etc., handled by lottery officials performing drawings with gloves, plus other security precautions. The draw method used is OK, , but perhaps not the pre-draws, but more important the lotteries should not hold their own drawings, all the state on the USA should be hold by one central Non Interested Party maybe even a non-profit organization, people with no government connections of any kind, without any kind of connections to anybody, period, the general public and the media should alway be present before during and after the draws.

I think it's a wonderful idea. I also think lotteries should discontinue the pre-tests. As long as the balls are carefully weighed measured before each drawing, then there is no reason for them.

Sure, some idiot could run away with a ball. However, I've always wanted the Florida Lottery to choose students to draw the balls, since they claim the money goes to education. Great Idea! I was thinking along these lines myself recently.

I was watching NJs Green Ball Double Draw recently, and it became fairly obvious that when it came time to do the Green Ball Double Draw Drawing that the Drawing Moderator was watching the Balls whirling within the Chamber. It appeared that they waited for the Ball (6 white, 1 green) to be Drawn that night to be the closest to the Draw Chute before opening the door that allows the ball to rise to the top of the chute.

I think people in general are fallible. On average, most people are honest. History clearly points to multiple occasions of how easily it is for someone in power to manipulate things to make it more favorable for themselves. At least the current ball draw method keeps the draw clean and simple.

Would you go ForHumans to draw the balls..just your average Joe off the street to reach in a grab the ball..no pre=testing or anything..what do you think..would that be a good idea or bad idea and why..please dont say for cheating..how can a stranger off the street whos only job is to reach in and grab one ball while the balls are moving around in mid-air is cheating..
