I change all numbers for every drawing, except for once in a blue moon I may reuse 1 or 2 numbers for for a drawing or two.

i stick with the same numbers, i,ve been playing these for about three years now twice a day,(two drawings , ill and fla ) and i can show you ,,0159 1672 1627 6721 6172 ,, 434 441 144 211 221 468 443 433 , they have been good to me so i cannot get rid of them now,, i dont know if anyone else plays these, but my system is dont play what you like,, play what falls , i buy a bargain trader every two months from fla which has and updates reguarly the lottery history,, so this works for... Wow! All these stories are scaring me. It's like the voices I ignore and then get into big, big trouble. I'm not saying I actually hear demons talking to me, but sometimes we hear an inner voice saying don't do that or do that and we don't listen.

So I guess for now I'm sticking to my numbers.

This is a good poll. I have a bad habit of not sticking with my numbers. Then they hit... I applaud you LottoMike. I've heard you say many times on here that you stick with your numbers and play your favorites as well, and patiently wait for the number to come. I have a hard time doing that

I have never hit a 4 digit number straight and one reason is that I don't play many I suppose, but in the last 3 years there have been a few chances which I let slip away. I vary according to how the numbers are looking, and yes have missed hits. Recently the 194 and 551 just for a couple. Very discouraging it is.

What I meant is that someone might think what I do with my numbers sounds ridiculous, but no stranger than another method chosen by the next guy. I wasn't saying using a license plate was silly. (although there are some very peculiar rituals people here have mentioned.

I play 1 number everyday midday in KY 999 other then that I play different numbers. In fact I go to the store on my payday (Friday)and play it for 6 days so I don't miss it. I play it everyday because it hasn't been out on midday in 7 yrs.

If I played a dolllar per drawing in a game with odds of 1 in 21 million, I wouldnt expect to win once out of every 21 million tickets. My expectations would be around 63.21%. So theres still almost a 37% chance of never winning at all.

Whoever came up with those numbers doesn't have a clue. Some places are more dangerous than others, but about 300 people are injured by lightning every year in the US. That's pretty close to 1 in 1 million, but let's imagine you're 100 times more likely to be hit so that there's a 1 in 10,000 chance. The chances of being hit 30 times would be 10,000 raised to the 30th power, and that would be a 1 with 120 zeros after it. This is funny because I had a dream Saturday night that I played a MM ticket in February and lost it. The ticket turned out to be the jackpot winner and someone else found my ticket and claimed it in California (I live where lost of people from all over the world come lol). I saw the last 5 numbers as CLEAR AS DAY and as soon as I woke up, I put them in my Treo's phone memos. I just can't remember what the first number was lol! well actually to be honest its a certain recipe for success i follow and this is what i do....

1-i play 10 to 15 bucks a week,sometimes i skip weeks

2-i ALWAYS play the same numbers

3-the law of averages states that sooner or later those numbers will hit.

4-i choose my own numbers and i never quick pick.

5-i tried quick picks when i first started and never won anything.

6-i have a huge notebook full of data and numbers that i study.

Not sure if you want to hear this .... But you know the saying you have a better chance of being struck by lightning 30 times before your one set of numbers comes up once. A news story on the CBC says, if you play the same set of numbers every draw, it would take 38,000 years before they came up once. And for those who change their numbers every draw....oh golly, over 186,000 years before they come up once.

Well, perhaps sometimes we are meant to see a license plate number, or when you get a palindromic total at the check out it's a signal to play it!

Numbers you dream of have to be played - no such thing as coincidence. Of course, maybe you dream of lets say 624, and you play it for the Pick 3, but the trifeacta at the race track that day was 624, but it's still a message delivered via a dream. I wish I could say that I've won enough to pay for my tickets. The game I am referring to has 1:23M odds (6/53 Lotto) so the most I've won is $75 getting 4/6. I think I've won about $300 in over a decade, although I've played other games. Who knows? Maybe I've won millions but remain clueless because my numbers were drawn during one of those pre-tests

Justxploring...my wife plays the same 10 sets of numbers every game (Win4Life) and wins enough to pay for the next set she is planning on playing. Me, I change and change and win nothing. Perhaps there is something to staying with the same set. That group in Calif. sure did do well after playing the same set of numbers for 10 years.

As for Pick3/4, I have pretty much given up on those games.

What game are you talking about, Mike? I use Quick Picks if I play anything but Lotto so I don't cry I played that just a few days ago!! As I've written (too many times) before, I've been playing the same numbers for years, so I'm nervous about switching because of the horror stories I've read. Even 5/6 (about $5K average) would be a treat to win, although the $10M jackpot would be even nicer.

One of the toughest things is trying to figure out when a combo is not going to come in and you're wasting your time. When backtesting a system that's what skews you, because you have all the drawings and you know if it came in or not. It's a real conundrum.

Usually I play some small systems (totally 48 lines) with the same numbers all the time on the Pick-6 lottery while I play 20 lines of quick picks on the Pick-7 lottery each week. Don't use any lottery prediction software at the moment.
