Congratulations to those who hit last night, yes 679-190 is associated with death and 679 was also overdue so that would explain the high payout last night. I mentioned this to my family around 5:30 last night and they just looked at me like I was on something. I've been playing the lottery for awhile now and I just know that play pattern.

416-721-321 is overdue

Congrats on your win cheesegrits. I had just stopped playing that number Saturday. Why...who knows? Not my time I guess. But I also agree with cplus about certain events that cause more people to play a certain number. There was probably no way Margaret could send a trip with everyone hot on them so she sent the next best thing, lol!! Glad you got a piece of it-keep up the good work.

Congrats on your win also. I have asked tha question b4 here. It seems that people play certain numbers when certain occurences happen.

For example, it's unfortunate, but the # 679 is usually associated with death. Maybe the tragic events VT sparked the high payout. Don't know, it is weird how some numbers have a higher payout. Almost like a trip had fallen.

I hope you enjoy your win anyway.

I was grateful to be in on the winnings, but I noticed on the Georgia Lottery website that 679 had 9.845 winners with $1,273,320 paid out .

The nearest amount of winnings were around $500, 000 for the 440 the previous night. So I guess the 679 showed up in a lot of places. Looking back in the results history, 110 won over $2 million back on February 2. It's funny how certain numbers really show up like that.
