This is an excerpt from their website: National lotteries from U.S, U.K. and from Europe have already send us emails asking us to stop giving this secrets. They said it's a bit unfair to the rest of players who play thousands of dollars each year and win nothing.

I agree with KY Floyd as well. The game cannot be random if they alter the game to keep people from winning, and their costs down. I voted They don't need to.

It would truely be a waste of time for the lottery commission to research the methods that people use to win. It's a business, and it's a game. They WANT people to win. It doesn't matter, win or lose, people will still play.

Making sure the odds are in their favor is simple math, and is an integral part of developing any games they choose to offer. They simply determine the odds and then come up with a prize structure that results in a 50% payout, and they're done. The lotteries have absolutely no reason to waste their resources researching systems. Operating the game and seeing that it closely follows the expected 50% payout has proven that it works time and time again.

Not sure what a lucky tinket is, but I better go buy one as soon as I find out! I think the Lotteries, especially on the Multistate games, run statistics on the numbers during several trial drawings to make sure there is no bias beyond a certain normal range. They will switch ballsets, have old ladies pick out which ballset to use or even use a RNG to pick the ballset (so a ball drawing can have an RNG behind it!) and also changing the machine itself (they often have several of the same one),

I honestly don't think the lotteries have people researching the big games. The ball drawings are legit and there would be no reason to have people researching the game because they actually are COMPLETELY random. There is no math formula in existence that can with 100% accuracy predict the numbers in a lottery. So again, there would be no point. Now the smaller and computerized games, I don't know.

I doubt if such a clause would be enforced in the business unless a person was working for two employees at the same time since many people leave their state lottery jobs and immediately starting working for another state or company during the same type of work for better wages. Remember Rebbecca Paul from Florida, she took a whole team of people with her when she left to start the Tennessee lottery.

What about non-competition clauses ? In some fields of work where someone may obtain a lot of knowledge about something, or develop a customer base, they have to sigh a non-competition clause as part of getting hired. These are usualy something like they can't work in the same business within a certain time frame after they leave (one to five years usually), or they can't work within a certain distance for the same kind of business.

I checked of course they do only because I think they make sure the odds are in their favor all the time. I assume that any online or instant game is researched thoroughly before its release. The FL Raffle was a huge success for the State. Then they came up with EZ Match for the Fantasy5 - another way to get people to spend $2 on a $1 ticket.

However, I also believe as you wrote above, that they must check to see if there are any weaknesses, i.e., the same store selling winning tickets

They also investigate incidents like the night there were over 50 winning Buckeye 5 tickets sold in Ohio. One player bought over 50 tickets on the same combination and the clerk didn't know there was a $1 million payoff limit. My cousin and a friend of his got together to create a system for the big games. They had to front a lot of money but the system paid off by hitting the second prize twice within a very short period of time. After collecting the second prize the lottery officials offered him a job. I am not sure what the job would have entailed but they seriously offered all the same so he could no longer play. He declined. I have not heard of him winning a big pot since maybe he should have taken it.

Think of ALL the folks over the years that have been tracking and calculating the games, yet it can go for weeks or even months between wins.

As I have said a million times: I think people can devise a system to get 3 x 5 on a semi-consistent basis, but that's not good enough.

If a state has computerized drawings the officials want to make sure that no one is trying to break into the system to manipulate it in some way.

For ball drawings it's timing. There is a specific amount of time set aside for the drawings, it's how much time is spent between when the machines are turned on when the #s are selected. Furthermore it goes back to pretesting. Again, timing the amount of pretests.

I'm sure more than one person has walked into a lottery claim center and bragged about how their system made them some money.

the main thing the lottery cares about is sales and getting as many people as they can to play.

Why would anyone have to be offered a sweet bonus not to spread the word about a system that consistently pick winners in a pick6 game?

1. He would be making his own bonus deal every time he played and won.

2. Why would he spoil it by spreading the word even to the lottery.

Before a game ever goes on line, its design is tested and checked for profitability. If profits aren't as expected then the lotteries probably check to find out why as PowerBall did when they had all those winners using the fortune cookie number, but I think the systems they check most are their own to make sure no one on the inside is taking advantage of a flaw. Even being able to buy all the possible combinations when it's profitable is a flaw so most lotteries have rules to try and prevent... [ More ]

I don't know about GTech, but it would be in the best interest of the lotteries to have people who researched systems available to the pubic to reduce their losses. So I voted "of course they do." But I can save them some time here and now... Most of those systems don't work. I have tried too many to be convinced they will ever come up with one that does work for all games or even consecutively on just one jackpot game. Just my opinion.
