A couple of yrs. ago (2001) I hit the fantasy 5 in florida a roll down and had played a 8 no 35 tickets +1 power no. and had 4 -4 12- 3 and 18-2 and won over 5,000.We bought a big screen t.v. Linda

Uff Dah! means in a very nice/polite way That sucked! or That was not good in norwegian. But we omit the h, saying Uff da.

Perhaps Uff Dah has picked up the wording from a norwegian-american.

i ended selling mine when i had kids.it was '86 iroc-z28 factory showroom edition.right after 9/11 i ended up buying it for a fraction of what it was worth because the person needed the money.i think he said he lost everything in the stock market.here is a pic of it......

Since I'm already retired and my pension plus social security is not enough to meet my normal annual needs, I typically make a few partial withdrawals from my IRAs each year in whatever amount is necessary to meet normal living expenses. In the event of a win of a few thousand dollars, I'd spend it on routine living, but in so doing I'd simply withdraw that much less from my IRA that year.

as tough as life is getting to survive, with the market so low, I couldn't agree with u more. I would pay a few mortgage payments off to save on monthly interest too. Keep some to keep playing lottery to stay ahead for more winnings. My job earnings stays in the bank to get bills paid.

I would put a little aside to pay the extra taxes that the $5000 extra income will cost. In Ohio, taxes are not deducted from lottery prizes up to $5K, so when I file the W-G the state will send me with my taxes, I would expect my federal and state taxes to increase an additional $1600, they increased $300 when I won $1500 a few years ago.

If someday I won this type of money , I will probably expend it into a full combination (like a 15 numbers combination with 5005 tickets) or maybe even a reduced system with lots of numbers (like a combination of 21 or 22 numbers, maybe even more) ...

I don't see it in your poll, but this is my choice:

Lower my debts. (i.e., make a few extra car payments or pay off any outstanding credit card balances)

I checked other but stick it all in the bank is probably a similar choice, since I would stick it all in the bank and then pay bills with it

i would go spend about five or six hundred bucks on me and my family and put the rest in the bank.
