I, too, had problems.......frustrating, for sure. It is corrected now. This is what I did.

Got out of LP............went to Tools on the top bar...........went to delete files and delete cookies ...clicked on both of them. Then I took LP off my favorites list.

Next in the Tools , I went to advanced and one of my SSL's wasn't checked...so I checked both of them....SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0

Then I shut down my computer and the I restarted it a few seconds later.... [ More ]

Running hot, straight and normal for me at this time.

Only problem I've ever had before this is that, occasionally, the LP Last Login time and subsequent Active Topics will go back to the time before the last login, particularly if I log in on the same computer. The workaround is to adjust the search parameters to the tiime approximating just prior to the last login. Other than that, all is well.

It is a cookie problem. If you clear all the cookies on your PC and it still doesn't work, then there is some other problem on your PC. Maybe your firewall?

Also, have you tried using another browser, like Firefox? Firefox is a great browser for testing for IE problems, because it uses a completely different set of cookies and other temporary files. If you open Firefox and login and use the site successfully, you know the problem is with your IE setup -- either cached files/data or a fire... [ More ]

Try Delete cookies set by Lottery Post in the Resources menu, then login. You should be able to access it.

Oh man, today has been nuts. Creating login code is tough. Anyway, I added an option in the Resources menu called, Delete cookies set by Lottery Post . If you're having login difficulties, click that option, then clear your cache, and you should be fine.

You DON'T need to restart your PC. You don't even need to restart your browser. Just do those two things above, and you should be OK.

Rick, I've been posting almost non-stop for the last two days about people sending me the new reports if someone is having problems. I am starting to get frazzled saying it so many times, in so many ways, which is why I used the shortened send report comment in my last reply to you. I guess I was hoping that you would just send me the report.

I've cleared cache, temporary files, restarted computer. The only place that I remain as a registered user is on the forum...any other page toggles me to guest .

Todd, I'm reasonably intelligent, not to mention the fact that I work online 24/7 so a computer is virtually never out of my sight. That said, I wouldn't know a cookie if it slapped me in the face.

However, I really appreciate what you do here. I spend more time logged in than not logged in and my work requires all kinds of safeguards and some places I can't even go on the web. Never any problems with LP all these years. Thank you.

I couldn't figure it out either. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because the first time I logged in I only saw one box, then I got logged off and when I went back I saw two..now I get it. I like it though. Bigger fonts and stuff. Looks nice.

oh that's what it was??? I was wondering why I went to some pages and had to log in again and then when I went to another page it would say I had to be a member to access that. It would show that I was a guest.

Things like login can be tricky to make changes to, so I've need to make some adjustments here and there. I think I'm finally happy with it.

Sorry if you need to login again, but that's the price for a little extra security!

At this point things work more like everyone is used to. Your name will get filled in automatically next time you login, as long as Remember Me is checked. Also, there is now a separate box for having a login survive a browser restart.
