Definitely which one. I had an Uncle that just boasted and boasted that if he won, he would NEVER tell 'cause everyone would pester him to death to share. He said he would just keep quiet. He had a feeling that he was going to win that Saturday's upcoming lottery and he even said, and I tell you what, 13 is one of the numbers. I was really down and out, car in shop for repairs, no way to ride without pestring neighbors despite how much money you paid them and it was Christmas season. Well... [ More ]

Let's see...my mom and my sister would definitely share. My dad I'm not so sure about. My wife's mom would probably share but my wife's brother...oh don't get me started on him.

I checked yes first then as I waited for the answer to process I seen which relative . I wish I could change my vote because that is what I would have chosen. I know with my immediate family my wife and mother would share, and my brother might share, but my sister is a definate NO

I can honestly say no one in my family would share their winnings with me. I would them, but not the other way around. Why? Because I want to. Plus if I hold all that bitterness in me toward them, I am no better than they are. I share. I have always shared. And I plan on continuing to do it. Yeah, there are those I can't stand. All I know is, if I win the lottery, the only family members that can even EXPECT to receive money from me are my parents and sister. I'm not going to be so happy if one of my other family members comes to me for money because they want to buy material objects(car, house, stereo, etc). Now if they need help with debt or bills, the amount I give them(or not give them) depends on their situation and the amount they need. Ah, slightly more subtle. lol I have one of those too. Mine would never come out and say she wouldn't give me anything tho, only because it might come back to haunt her if I should ever win. But she doesn't say she would give me something either. I know she wouldn't do anything more than maybe take me to dinner.

Yes, but not in those exact words, Lilly. It was probably more along the line of If you won $50 million would you give me something, even $100,000? The answer was I have 2 children. When I asked What if I won the lottery? The same person replied That's different.

Knowing my relatives, first they would never tell and second, they would never admit to have aquiring their wealth via Lottery and third, they would look at me and say your related by WHO

If any of my five siblings won, I'm sure they would offer the other siblings at least something, like $10,000 or $20,000, and more to the sibling and to other close relatives who are disabled. I suspect they would also offer more to those relatives who otherwise have the least, just as I would do.

If a neice or nephew won, they would share with their surviving parent, no doubt, but beyond that I have no idea.
