Florida is probably looking at the computer they have to pick the raffle numbers and figuring they could easily get some more mileage out of it.

I truly hope FL isn't testing the waters!

Since TN went computerized, I've had to stop playing the Lotto 5. Friday's numbers cemented my decision 13-14-15-25-26.

One of the benfits to the lottery bottom line is less lottery employees with computerized drawings, I doubt they would vote computerized.

I'm wondering if this isn't just a poll by Florida or a marketing test of sorts to see if computerized drawings would go over or not- because they might be thinking of going to them.

Why else would they put such a poll up

Pac, I don't know what is scarier - the thought that FL will go to computerized draws or that I was typing the same thing as you at the same time .....again!

Anyway, I was about to say that, when I voted in the past on various FL polls, I noticed the same things (a) they never show results and (b) you can vote as many times as you want

I believe it's because the company they use isn't as knowledgeable as Todd (and, NO, I am not kissing up) on designing a site and its features.... [ More ]

Isaw that on the FL site a couple of weeks ago and thought it was more than a coincidence. Of course I voted for ball drawings. If everybody on LP went to the site and voted it could make a big difference in any decision they are making.

It's rather strange that they don't keep a tab on the people that have already voted. I saw that poll months ago, and I just clicked on the link, only to see that I have the option to vote again, using the same computer.

Does that mean I can vote 20 times a day?...lol

Occasionally the Florida Lottery site will have a poll. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but a few of them have been on subjects we were discussing on Lottery Post.

When I signed on last night, I saw that the new poll asks a few questions about ball drawings vs electronic drawings. One of the questions is:

For you personally, which of these two methods do you feel is more fair and random?
