As he said, you would be 41 X more likely to win the $200,000 than the jackpot, due to the 42 powerballs, I guess.

But what makes you thing that you have any chance at all? You can of course dream, same as everybody else.

You're 41 times as likely to match 5+0 as to match 5+1. Therefore you're 4100% as likely to win 5+0 or 4000% more likely. Is there a reason you think the percentage is a useful number?

$200,000 is won by matching 5 numbers but not the Powerball. The jackpot is won by matching all 5 numbers and the Powerball. Since there are 42 choices for the Powerball there are 41 chances of winning $200,000 and 1 chance of winning the jackpot.
