i wait for the lottery results also, but yes i do look for the trac first, i told u that i got it bad for the trac thang. even if u didn't do it that way, um good! ;-)

now below is how the world of numba's look 2 me, probably only me though! ;-)

Maybe! I do have a Mac that I test stuff on, so it is not out of the realm of possibility. However, I believe the Mac and Vista gadget technologies are so different that it may be a complete re-write in order to make it happen. In that case, I would say don't lose hope, but don't hold your breath.

Of course the other possibility is to run Vista in a virtual PC session (there are a number of applications on the Mac for running Windows on top of the Mac operating system), but... [ More ]

Both should be useful in order to see what it is, what it looks like, and what it is capable of.

Hmmm, never really thought about that. Is that how you use vTracs? I know with lottery results, most people will wait for their state results to come in, and then check the number immediately against tickets played. Is your usage of vTracs similar? Do you wait for a single vTrac number to come in, and then act on it? Or do you like to use a set of vTracs taken from a single game or multiple games

now u know i luv the toy, right now um on my XP, hopefully i can get on my vista between 2-nite or the morrow, but i have a question, will the gadget carry the vtrac results in the futua' ? now i can't imagine the work u put into it, but u know i have grown up 2 b a vtrac-kinda gal and i had to ask! ;-)

I agree with Todd saying it may be worth the upgrade. Vista probably has things on it I don't even know how to use yet. This gadget is great , I can just look over to the side of my screen and see it without going back and forth to the results pages. I have VA TX and SC results come throught for now.

Just have to hit update and they all show up. Thanks again Todd.

Forgot to mention that if you click say a state you have there, it will take you directly to the past results for the gam... [ More ]

Vista is the future, and this capability does not exist in XP.

Vista gets bad press by the anti-Microsoft press, but it is actually quite an awesome OS. I would recommend upgrading from XP in a heartbeat.

It's a wonderful creation, however, since the overwhelming majority of people use XP - what was the determining factor to use only Vista or was its creation just for the sake of innovation.

Now that drivers are easily found for most hardware, the Vista upgrade process is not too bad, and the hardware requirements are not too different than XP's. If you enable the Aero interface on Vista, it requires a little more graphics power than XP, but if you use the regular interface it's just about the same.
