Hard to know without knowing if the 4/6 prize is much greater than the 3/6.

In my state 6/48, a 3/6 match pays $3, while 4/6 pays about $40

Using your 2 choices, to cover your costs, at least

4 of your 10 tickets (40%) would have to match 3 of 6 OR2 of your 60 tickests (3.3%) would have to match 4 of 6

in theory, the max wins are

10 3-match = $30.00 win - $10.00 cost = $20.00

60 4-match = $2,400 win - $60.00 cost = $2,340

I think playing 15 numbers around for 6/49, with probable 3-4 winning numbers,the best investment would be around 10-60 dollars.

What is your idea?And please support your point with some figure.
