Since the 1st here are the HOT and COLD #'s for NY Take 5 ...

Hot

#38 hit 10 times

#32 hit 10 times

Cold

#36 hit 1 time

# 35 hit 2 times

#26 hit 2 times

we will see if these #'s continue there ways..

Yea thats about right for the average clerk... one outta two getting it wrong...

I didn't play last night and 2 20's hit. I would have won 2 fp's. I still have 2 coupons left so will try using those this weekend and see if we can hit for some money,...

Hi all,

I had a clerk tell me my take 5 coupon ticket was already used, . Some machienes are accepting them, and some are not.

I took that same coupon to another store, and no problem getting my tickets.

Wow, no 20's in last nights Take 5... so that finishes the month out with 20's being really cold.

8 9 19 31 32 last night..

singles 37 24%

teen's 46 27%

20's 35 21%

30's 47 28%

Lets see what February brings... lots'-o-20's....

interesting as I have 3 sets I like to play and 2 of the 3 are dominated by single digits.. That made me look at the averages over the last 30 days (thanks to info on the NY Lottery site)

Here are the number of hits in each group

singles 1-9 35 39.1025641

teen's 10-19 45

20's 20-29 35

30's 30-39 45

the 39.1025641 is when you add in the average of # of hits (4.1025641)since the singles are short one #.

So over the last 30 days the 20's are cold. An... [ More ]

I agree with the odds of the 3 hitting again being low.. but look what happened when I covered EVERY # but...

Here are the two qp's I won...

2 3 18 21 30 (note the 3 again!!)

16 18 29 33 34 (18 in both?)

Also back in the mid 90's I did an office pool with Take 5 and we tried both picking #'s qp's. There were 15 of us, so each day we played 15 times. Best we did was 3 of 5 either way. We gave up after 3 months..

Most odds makers would say it's highly improbable that 3 will pop again right(that would make it three days in a row)? If I relied on luck (don't have any) through quick picks, I would have won years ago....several times! It's more likely that either cold or recently popped single digit numbers will draw(or as I am expecting) no single digits at all.

There are a number of ways things can go for the 1/30 draw. My blended strategy will hopefully help me to capture as many as possible.... [ More ]

All winners for the last 5 days have been either qp's or free plays except 1/25 had one person pick the winner.

last night

1/ 29 -Winning Counties: Bronx(QP), Erie(QP), Kings, Rockland(QP)

1/28 - Winning Counties: New York(FP

1/27 -Winning Counties: New York(2)(FP 2)

1/26 no winners

1/25 Winning Counties: Chautauqua, Rockland(QP)

Then Sunday night was ONE winner on a Free Play, got 95k!!

Thats a REALLY good point, seems like Take 5 likes to go a play or two with out any single digits even in a row. And of course you know that I WILL BE playing the 3 tonight cuz if I don't it WILL return

Actually, I wouldnt be surprised if the next draw does not include any single digits at all.

Ok, so by using the coupon I had 5 plays for the price of 3. So I had 23 #'s of 39. So I covered 15 of the 16 remaining in 3 more plays leaving ***1*** number not covered - # 3 ....

Well guess what # came out last night- yup # 3!!!

How is it possible that I covered 38 of the 39 #'s and that # is one that came out ... I didn't even get a free play (2 of 5) !!!

No, NY makes the clerk hit *3* buttons to make it work. I found a store today that knew how to do it. He laughed when I told him about the other stores and said he has been hearing that all day

I got 2 Take 5 coupons in the mail this weekend.

play $3 in Take 5 and get $2 free

I stopped at **5** stores that have lottery machines and NONE of them could figure out how to run the tickets!!

I just sent and e-mail to NY State letting them know - which is the same as asking for my state taxes to be lowered - but I thought they should know.

Anyone else having any luck with the coupons
