NY has 39 numbers, but pays better for the 3 of 5, it averages $18-$23 bucks. NY also often pays in the $700-800 for 4 of 5 when no one gets all 5. But with fewer balls in CA the odds are better to hit ....

The lowest pick-5 matrix in the United States is PA's Treasure Hunt, which has only 30 numbers. But for an even lower matrix, head down to Mexico for their 28-number Chispazo.

IMO Florida Fantasy 5 is the best. They have only 36 numbers (California and many others are 39 numbers) and getting 4 correct can pay out big time. If nobody hits 5 correct, then the jackpot rolls DOWN and is split among all those that had 4 correct. Payouts of over $700 for 4 correct are common. Last night for instance:

Two questions really. Which Pick5 game in the US has the best odds and payout structure and also, does anyone know where we can play Pick5 games online. I know you can play the big lotteries and pick3 and pick4 online at betslips, but I can't find a place to play pick5. Thanks.
